Beyonce reveals a snippet of what may be her wedding gown in "I Was Here (Live at the Roseland)" video

Impending motherhood seems to be making Beyonce a lot less private. Just two months after revealing the “love growing inside of [her]” at the MTV VMAs,  Beyonce has revealed what may be the gown she wore the day she and Jay-Z tied the knot. In her new video “I Was Here (Live at the Roseland)”, the singer takes viewers through a chronological visual of her life from her local singing contest days to present. Watch the video below for a pint-size Beyonce’s speech “I love you, Houston!” and a peak at her wedding dress. The star still kept something for herself — no full-length shot, no shoes. Maybe we’ll find that out when the baby’s born.

Who says blinging headpieces are reserved for royalty?

While we expected the future Queen of England and reigning Duchess Kate Middleton to wear a tiara on her wedding day, so-called commoners are crowning themselves on their big days too.

Alicia Keys rocked a jeweled headpiece with her Vera Wang gown the day she married producer Swizz Beatz, and this Saturday Kim Kardashian reprised the look. Wearing a Vera Wang gown with a diamond headband, Kardashian looked every bit the Princess Bride.

2011 has been a huge year for celebrity weddings, with Kate Middleton, Kim Kardashian, Kate Moss, Rachel Weisz, Reese Witherspoon, singer Amerie, Vanessa Minnillo, and basketballer Chris Bosh’s new bride Adrienne Williams just a few of the marquee names that said “I Do”. Though flamboyant hats are de rigueur among British society — they were required at Kate Middleton and Prince William’s wedding — toppers that resemble bird’s nests/cable satellite dishes/children’s boat toys/etc are generally left to church services and the Kentucky Derby in the States. But that may change now that the Royal Wedding hats are generating almost as much chatter as Kate Middleton’s Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen dress.

With William’s cousin Princess Beatrice inspiring a Facebook page in debate over her sculptural headgear, and Stateside milliner Eugenia Kim citing increased orders of “fascinators” since the Royal Wedding was seen by over 2 billion watchers worldwide, I’m curious to know if you’ll be rocking a “church hat” or Kentucky Derby-esque topper with your snazzier spring/summer ensembles?
