It might be hard to believe, but at one time Nicki Minaj considered being something other than an award winning rapper/singer.

In the March issue of Vogue on newsstands now, Nicki reveals that at one time she had other career plans, saying;

“A huge part of me wanted to be a lawyer! I would do a really good job as a prosecutor,”

 

I have a hard time picturing Nicki as anything other than the performer she is, but I think she could probably be anything she wants to be!  She also reveals how her education at LaGuardia High School was where she was introduced to her love of fashion;

“I was dressing in Tommy Hilfiger baggy shirts and Boss jeans, but then I met a person who dressed like a tiny lady—pantsuits, heels, lots of makeup. I thought she was larger than life. She once did my makeup—I had never seen myself made up before. I didn’t want to wash it off; I felt like I had one day to live this fantasy of being a glamour girl.”

After enjoying a Mulberry-filled evening over the weekend, singer Lana Del Rey was spotted solo in London on Feb. 20. The soulful songstress bundled up in a beige trench as she stepped out in Mayfair last night.

With London Fashion Week just getting started, I have a feeling we’ll be seeing plenty more of Lana, as she continues to sit front row at all of the most talked-about shows!

Fashion Week would NOT be complete if Manhattan’s favorite fashionista, Blake Lively, didn’t stop by a show! And on Feb. 15, the actress did just that as she posed for pics at the Noon-by-Noon presentation.

Styled in a white number with brown tights, Blake topped off her lovely look with a gorgeous pair of Louboutins.

While we may have to wait until November to catch Kellan Lutz on the big screen again in Breaking Dawn: Part Two, for now, these paparazzi shots of the smokin’ hot star will just have to do! The scruffy stud rocked the red carpet in Las Vegas on Feb. 14, where he attended the Dylan George and Abbott + Main Fall 2012 collection’s afterparty at Chateau Nightclub.

Talk about sparkling and shining! On Feb. 14, actresses Thandie Newton and Rebecca Romijn ruled the black carpet at the LA premiere of Good Deeds. Joined by fellow glamour girl Gabrielle Union, the trio of lovely ladies totally sizzled on Tuesday night.

While Gabrielle donned a floor-length frock, Thandie and Rebecca both rocked playful minis that each popped on the press line.

Aww, how cute does Alessandra Ambrosio  and daughter look? On Tuesday afternoon, supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio showed off her growing baby bump in LA, where she stepped out to pick up her little girl Anja from school.

The precious pair strolled hand-in-hand on the sidewalk as they headed back to Alessandra’s car and embraced the SoCal sun. Hmm, wonder what the model mom had in store for her adorable Valentine this year!

So Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott flew to Malibu? I don’t know how far Malibu is from LA, but I thought they were fairly close. I’ll have to mapquest it, but since I’m on the other side of the country, it’s not too pressing. With three kids, even a couple of hours in the car can be overwhelming. Anyway, Tori and Dean were spotted with the kids at Malibu Park. Dean was even seen giving baby Hattie a bottle while Tori was doing some shopping. I bet it’s nice to get away now that Hattie’s out of the exhausting newborn stage.

If I saw this lady on the streets, I’m not sure I’d recognize ‘One for the Money’ star Katherine Heigl. LOVE that cap and the matching shoes (although I can’t imagine walking anywhere in those things: those are the types of shoes you wear to sit down in).

Even incognito, Katherine manages to stay in style. That’s a fashionista right there! Red is definitely a great color on her.

What’s been one of the hottest shows at Fashion Week so far? Project Runway alum Christian Siriano’s! The fierce designer unveiled his latest collection on Saturday, Feb. 11, and did so to a celeb-filled audience.

After grabbing a bite in the West Village last week, stylish socialite Olivia Palermo bundled up for a stroll around the Big Apple with beau Johannes Huebl on Monday afternoon. The precious pair stuck by one another’s side as they did a bit of shopping and walked their furry friend around Manhattan. With Fashion Week here, Olivia’s schedule is sure to be jam-packed with shows to attend. But until then, spending some quality time with her model boy toy will surely put a smile on the former reality starlet’s face!

I remember Rachel Nichols from ‘Alias’ (she was blonde then, I think)! She’s been working steadily since then, including having a role in the big-screen version of ‘G.I. Joe.’ Here she is on the set of her new TV show ‘Continuum.’ Rachel looks like she’s having a blast! She shot a scene with co-star Victor Webster. Between takes, she hung out with Mark MaCauley. Last night, Beyonce stepped out in public for the first time since giving birth to daughter Blue Ivy, to watch husband Jay-Z’s Carnegie Hall concert. She flaunted her famous curves in a clingy red dress. Can you believe she gave birth a month ago?

I’m still wondering if Beyonce and Jay-Z will take Jessica Alba’s advice and sell Blue Ivy’s first baby pictures. I’ll be SHOCKED given how private these two are. We never saw a single wedding pic (or even got official confirmation), unless you count the image in her “I Was Here” video. But we’ll have to wait and see…
