According to The Cut, the Kardashian clan is venturing into a new kind of media–their own magazine. They are close to landing a deal with American Media Inc. which owns Star, The National Enquirer, Shape and the new Reality Weekly. The magazine will hopefully have a new issue hit newstands every 72 days.

As we all know, there is a ton of press, and rumors, around this family and they just want to make sure they can set the record straight for themselves. You know mama Kris will be pulling all the strings on this project. I wonder if it will also revolve around the Kardashian style instead of just the rumors.

New "Reality Weekly" tabloid focuses on reality stars

Reality TV has gone EGOT ET, i.e. a Nomination Category on the Emmy’s, and now a tabloid focused solely on all things Kardashian, Real Housewives, and more. As addicted as I am to the Kardashians, Top Chef, Basketball Wives, et al, I won’t be forking over $1.79 for all the stuff I can catch on the blogs and Andy Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Live”. Will you?

2011 was full of many great fashion happenings! I thought the best way to represent my favorite moments was with one of my favorite things of 2011…the art of gifs!

How can you not love the epic collaboration of 2011 that was Versace and H&M? Between the fashion show and the advertisements, it was talked about everywhere! Can’t wait for the spring collection!

Of course you can’t talk about the year in fashion without mentioning the Fashion Weeks. They are weeks of fun and creativity! Thankfully next season starts soon!

Anything involving Rick Genest this year was phenomenal. I am so intrigued by who he is! Plus, he was in Lady Gaga’s ‘Born This Way’ video! You can’t get much cooler than that!

I love me some Victoria’s Secret angels! The fashion show was glitter-tastic! The response on Twitter was the same! Everyone enjoyed watching the likes of Chanel Iman, Miranda Kerr, Adriana Lima and the rest of the gorgeous bombshells strut their way into everyone’s fantasies!

You either love her fashion choices or you hate them. I actually enjoy them! I think they help express her creativity. My favorite was definitely the Chanel dress she wore to the opening of Gaga’s Workshop at Barney’s.

Ah, the Royal Wedding! We all wanted to see who Kate would wear. I think she gracefully made the right decision!

Even though the wedding and marriage was a bust, the three wedding dresses Kim wore were gorgeous! Too bad it was all for nothing!

This year was the year of Francisco Lachowski! He was everywhere! He’s easily my favorite model of 2011.

According to TMZ, Kim Kardashian spent $65,000 on 3 blingin’ bracelets formally owned by Elizabeth Taylor.

This past week, Liz Taylor’s entire collection of rare and expensive jewelry was auctioned off in NYC. It all went for $116 MILLION! THAT’S CRAZY! Of course, Kim had to get her hands on 3 jade and diamond Lorraine Schwartz bangle bracelets.
TMZ says, “We’re told Kim believes jade harnesses energy … and now that she owns the bracelets, KK feels she will share a deeper connection to the Hollywood icon.” Kim needs all the good energy she can get after her recent events. Good luck Kim!

Pippa Middleton and the Kardashians made it onto Barbara Walters’ list of 2011′s Most Fascinating People. Also on the list were Katy Perry, Derek Jeter, Simon Cowell, Donald Trump, and Modern Family‘s Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet. The show will air December 14th on ABC.

We know Pippa will definitely be bombarded with questions about the Royals as well as her infamous booty. Let’s see how shy and bashful she gets!

Of course, Barbara Walter will be dissecting America’s fascination with the Kardashian family. Hopefully we’ll get a hint as to what went down in Kim Kardashian’s brief marriage to Kris Humphries.

Definitely a must watch–especially since the Kardashians and the Royal Wedding, as well as Justin Bieber, were the top searches of 2011!
