Tears! Heidi Klum and Seal are separating after 7 years of marriage. They have four beautiful children (all under the age of 8). It’s so sad because they always seemed happy together. I loved when they sang a duet at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show a few years back.
The couple issued the following statement to People:
While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate.
We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition.
We thank our family, friends, and fans for their kind words of support. And for our children’s sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy.
Poor kids, Heidi and Seal! Let’s hope for a smooth ride.

Tonight’s Golden Globes Red Carpet was one of the Best Dressed in recent memory mostly because there were few clones. Largely ditching the safety of princess silhouettes and one shoulder gowns, the stars came out in unique expressions of their personal style. Zooey Deschanel wore a bold custom Prada gown with an embellished spray of green and black on the blouse of her dress. Likewise Tilda Swinton opted for a periwinkle structured jacket with a soft maxi skirt spilling out from underneath it. Not everyone’s look was a hit–Glee star Dianna Agron’s red dress composed of laser cut swans was beautiful in detail, but A LOT for the eye to take in. And Tilda Swinton’s aforementioned look also gave the eye a lot to absorb, but then that’s the charm of Tilda–she doesn’t give a f@$K!
As individual as the looks were, there were some trends: scooped out backs (Julianna Margulies, Heidi Klum, Nicole Richie), sparkling headbands (Michelle Williams and Charlize Theron), statement clutches (see Angelina Jolie’s sanguine bag), and mermaid silhouettes (Sofia Vergara, Kelly Osbourne, and Reese Witherspoon. Windblown hair/bed head was big too with Stacy Keibler and Reese Witherspoon rocking sexily mussed-up coifs. All said, I’ve settled on my shortlist of the Best Dressed on the Red Carpet. Who am I missing? Who do you think was the flyest?
Charlize Theron
Charlize Theron may not have won for her role in Young Adult, but the Golden Globe nominee killed it on the carpet, summoning her dancer past in a swinging costume gown by Dior with a cocktail length hem in the front, and floating train in the back, complete with sparkling headband.
Angelina Jolie
Angelina Jolie looked pretty fly & mighty in her champagne colored gown with Grecian detail and crimson contrast napkin bodice.
Rooney Mara
The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo nominee continued her goth-chic streak on the Golden Globes red carpet in a Nina Ricci gown.
Julianna Margulies
The combination of long sleeves and a scooped out back is a winning one for Julianna Margulies.
Kelly Osbourne
Heidi Klum and her bodyguard grabbed some lunch yesterday afternoon at Lemonade in Brentwood. After lunch, Heidi finished up some shopping.
The mom of four was lookin’ slender and stylish in her ripped jeans, gray sweater wrap and …FLIPFLOPS. I’m a wee bit jealous of flipflops in December!
Heidi Klum left the boys at home and had some fun time with two of her favorite ladies, daughters Leni and Lou yesterday: she took them along with her to do some shopping.
I can’t believe how good Leni and Lou were: they entertained each other in the store while Heidi picked up a few things. Something tells me Leni is a doting big sister: after Heidi and Seal had two boys, she’s probably thrilled to have another girl in the house
The first few celebrity Halloween costumes have surfaced! As per usual, Heidi Klum went all out for her annual Halloween bash, this year dressing up as a skinless dead body at Tao Las Vegas on Saturday. According to People.com, she extended the metaphor by arriving on a gurney covered in a white sheet. Kim Kardashian took New York in attended a Midori-green Poison Ivy costume at a Midori-sponsored party at Manhattan club Lavo.
