Stylecaster brought up a great point–the influencers in fashion are definitely changing. With the rise of opinions floating around on social media and the ability for the networks give a voice to people who would normally go unheard, everyone is listening to what you have to say.
I don’t know about you, but I check my Klout score on the daily; actually, multiple times a day! I am always giving +K’s and cross my fingers to receive them as hardcore social media users judge you based on your Klout score. It has complete validity in how much your opinions matter and what topics you’re influential in.
Will this score change the way people are seated a fashion week? Will a new group of people lead the trendsetting? MAYBE! I’m pretty sure Anna Wintour doesn’t have to worry about losing her job at the moment, but you never know what the future will hold!
Based on Klout scores, Stylecaster filled an imaginary fashion show:
“Front Row: Kim Kardashian rules at 91, while Paris Hilton (88) andKanye (78) round out the top three.
Second Row: Nina Garcia leads the charge at 71, with Brad Goreski andRachel Zoe trailing at 69 and 68 respectively. (Um, awkward — let’s hope Nina sits in the middle.)
Third Row: Joe Zee and Andre Leon Talley would find themselves wedged between fashion bloggers Bryanboy (67) and Man Repeller (66) . (Yay! They can have an arm party!)”
Who would you want to see sitting front row? Who’s opinion would you trust!?
