After five years of marriage, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes call it quits (according to People). Katie Holmes’ attorney has stated, ”This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family. Katie’s primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter’s best interest.”
I hope our little fashionista, Suri is coping well. Such sad news!
She “married for love,” then followed her heart to file for divorce, and now, Kim Kardashian is getting NO love from the media, blogosphere and Twitterverse. Check out this graphic from @kelkulus. Yikes.
After dropping the (not so shocking) news this morning that she was filing for divorce, reality star Kim Kardashian released a statement:
“After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best.”
It’s just mind-boggling. Why not try therapy sessions or work things out a little longer? They should still be in newlywed heaven, right? CRAZY!
What a short-lived marriage! According to TMZ, Kim Kardashian is filing for a divorce after only 72 days of being married to Kris Humphries.
She is citing “irreconcilable differences” with her divorce and not seeking an annulment.
It’s also been reported earlier today that E! set up the whole marriage!
