Lady Gaga shaved the back of her head as a tribute to the late Annie Lomax, who passed away recently. At the launch of her new perfume, ‘Fame,’ she got a tattoo on the shaved part of her head in front of the audience. Lady Gaga did live art installation features.
One had her arriving inside a replica of the ‘Fame’ perfume bottle. Lady Gaga was “sleeping” inside the bottle on a bed. A sign read ”Touch Lady Gaga’s hand, but please don’t wake her.” So the audience members got to reach inside the bottle and touch Lady Gaga’s hand for an hour before the tattoo artists gave her the tattoo while she was still laying down on the bed. That’s… interesting.
The tattoo artists, Mark Mahoney, described that tattoo as: ”It’s kind of a Renaissance era cherub, a nod to her Italian heritage.” I wonder if Lady Gaga was sedated? I’d have to be to get a tattoo on my HEAD in front of a live audience and just lie there- LOL!
Rachel Zoe and Kirsten Dunst both made it to Vera Wang’s Fashion Show. Rachel and Kirsten and all the other fashion fans are probably pounding the pavement hard as they make their way from show to show during New York’s Fashion Week! Kirsten and Rachel clearly have different styles, yet I’m a huge fan of both.
Kirsten is colorful and feminine. She’s not afraid of some fringe! Rachel is the opposite: sleek and chic in black. Look at Rachel’s leather pants: slim fit with a flared leg. Boot-cut leather pants! Are you fans of their looks?
And the latest celeb to launch a sweet scent? Nicole Richie, that’s who! On Aug. 29, the Fashion Star mentor promoted her new perfume, ‘Nicole,’ at Macy’s in Glendale, CA. After dishing with the press for a bit, Nicole took a few pics with her fresh fragrance.
Nicole is one super savvy business lady! Apart from her new fragrance, Nicole is also behind ajewelry line and a contemporary clothing collection. Not too shabby for the mommy-of-two! ;]
Kristin Cavallari just gave birth to her first child, Camden, earlier this month, but she’s already getting back to work. Kristin is debuting a footwear line. She loves her heels (check out these stilettos she was rocking while pregnant!) and is ready to get back in them. Kristin’s designing a line of shoes for Chines Laundry.
“I wanted to make a line for girls who want to look and feel great, but not spend a fortune. It’s important for girls to know that you can look amazing at a great price. [I] just designed shoes that I love and want to wear. This line is for the girl on the go who wants to feel great for any occasion. I definitely have a certain style and taste and don’t veer far from it,” she jokes.
I’ll be interested to see what’s in Kristin’s line. If it’s anything like Jessica Simpson’s footwear, then it’s sure to be a big seller!
