“Girls just wanna have fun–classy fun, that is.” That’s the idea that popped into my head as I glanced through Dolce & Gabbana’s delicious RTW Fall 2009 collection. Proof positive of girly fun, was the image of Marilyn Monroe silk screened onto bubble skirts and sheath dresses with fur collars. The whimsical collection unfolded into skirt and jacket sets with cinched waists, puff sleeves, feathered collars, oversized glass buttons and outrageous bows placed hapazardly along the waist, wrist and neck. Fuchsia, silver, black, plum and gold were the tones on board; three-quarter coats were on full display in an over the top design–hot pink full length furs, houndstooth, fitted capes, black and white leopard prints highlighted with bits of curly black fur…I could go on and on and on….take a gander for yourself. I’m lovin’ it!
