I’m trying to figure out the inspiration behind Diesel’s Black Gold collection. The models look as those they just came from a Great Gatsby meets ’80s prom event that somehow ended up in smoke. Seriously. Looking at this collection piece by piece, I can appreciate the elbow length gloves, the black net veil and the creation of a tuxedo style shirt made from jersey, but putting all of these pieces together, doesn’t work for me.
