Anyone who owns couture must know that you don’t put a gown on some crappy old hanger from the drycleaners. Apparently no one told Whitnesy Houston. Paper magazine was aghast to see a photo of Whitney’s orange Atelier Versace gown displayed on a cheap wire hanger as she auctioned off her worldy goods. “Versace isn’t exactly known for tastefulness,” Paper wrote, “but it’s not trash.” [photo via In Touch]
