Emerging designers gave Los Angeles fashion week a fresh start at Gen Art’s Fresh Faces in Fashion event over the weekend, featuring the work of Katy Rodriguez, Crispin & Basilio and Ziji. Perhaps the best known of L.A.’s runway designers, Louis Verdad, was once a “fresh face.”
