As designer Lars Nilsson leaves Nina Ricci, another high profile design job is open, leaving many fashion insiders to wonder if Olivier Theyskens, formerly of Rochas, will take the job with Nina or with Chloe, where Phoebe Philo has left a gaping void. Nina Ricci seems like a better fit for Theyskens, who has a glamour streak not seen in Chloe’s frumpy fall collection. Then again, Chloe’s cuts are more interesting and better excecuted than Nina Ricci… Only time will tell.
