There are some things you just can’t say in the fashion press, apparently. Vogue recently prohibited use of the term “style maven” from its pages, reports Fashion Week Daily, which itself banned “fashionista” and “hipster” earlier this year. The Daily‘s synonymous “hauterflies,” feels a little forced, and they must know it because they’re asking for suggestions to replace it.
