As I walked down the street in Brooklyn the other night, I overheard some people talking about some guy’s “brohemian” style. The ever-reliable Urbandictionary.com uses this marriage of “brother” and “bohemian” as a noun, but not an adjective. However, my own unscientific poll suggests “brohemian” may be one of several style fusions: surfer-bohemian, frat-bohemian, and, my personal fave, ghettofabulous-bohemian. Perhaps the term comes from Brooklyn’s own Lenny Kravitz, who by my account is the reigning king of all brohemians everywhere.
