Rapper/producer Kanye West deserves props for bringing attention to conflict diamonds — the dark side of bling not often explored by luxe-loving rappers — in his new single “Diamonds from Sierra Leone.” Of course the song still chronicles his rise to fame, Hennessy and Yves Saint Laurent glasses.
