Free style inspiration from generations of glamourpusses — from Marlene to Marilyn to Madonna — is on display at “Glamour: Fashion, Film, Fantasy” in New York’s FIT gallery. Best: Marlene Dietrich’s pink satin slippers with an explosion of glass beads at the toe and Halston’s empire-waisted gown with white ‘fro (pictured). Worst: J.Lo’s dress from ‘The Cell’ (except for the red vinyl neck brace under that weird fender-like headdress). The show is well-crafted and inspiring and, best of all, has free admission. Through April 16th.
